Isn’t it time for a sensible debate about piracy?



Following last weeks court ruling to jail the founders of file sharing website the pirate bay, we thought it was important to highlight the creative possibilities offered by data/file-sharing.

The field of programming has led the way in realising the potential that an open source approach can take, with innovative ideas such as the free operating systems linux and gnu. In the field of visual communication, work by The Libre Society and The Creative Commons have inspired us and given us the tools to create work without restrictions.
