A major text font available in serif and sans serif. The idea behind Priori is for a series of typefaces with different styles but with a common core character structure so that they could be mixed together in the same word.
Priori borrows heavily from much of the early 20th-century typography in London, the work of Eric Gill and Edward Johnston, all of which have been an important inspiration for the studio. The font contains a number of experimental characters which take these traditional letterforms into the contemporary realm. The font also as befits its heritage has a number of ultra lightweight versions to be used for signage or in large sizes.
