Barnbrook design is taking part in Embedded Art, an exhibition being held in the Akademie der Kunste Berlin, 23 January – 29 March 2009. Embedded Art is an interdisciplinary project that focuses on the societal shifts caused by the universal desire for security. Artists with an interest in the issues of future security and political control were asked to make a new work by becoming ’embedded’ in a particular issue around security. Barnbrook design will be exhibiting two artworks.
We have also designed a set of logos and a fly poster for the exhibition.
More information can be found on the Embedded Art website.
Barnbrook is one of Britain’s most well-known and highly regarded independent creative studios, based in London. We work with a variety of clients across the globe and projects of varying scales. From overseeing the brand identity and environmental graphics of Art Basel to our much-discussed David Bowie album covers.
Barnbrook’s contribution to design was recognised with a retrospective at the Design Museum in London entitled Friendly Fire in 2007.
